10 Most Notorious Edge Urban Legends
Was Edge on par with Billy Gunn as King Of The Ring?
It's pretty scary to think that Adam 'Edge' Copeland has been out of action with WWE since 2011. Upon making his debut with the company in 1998, the Edge character morphed in several different ways, but he had long since been a fixture at the top of the card when he was forced to retire from active competition shortly after WrestleMania XXVII. The whole ordeal surrounding Copeland's retirement was sad, and it was clearly upsetting to someone who had sacrificed so much to even be a part of the pro wrestling industry. Thankfully, Edge's matches and greatest moments are fondly remembered, living on through the WWE Network and in the collective memories of fans. Gravely serious neck injuries may have forced Copeland to ride off into the sunset, but he does still remain one of the more intriguing stars to have ever come down the line in WWE. A lot of this has to do with the man's actions outside of the ring, just as much as those inside of it. This articles focuses on 10 different notorious urban legends which surround Adam 'Edge' Copeland, and discusses the origins of these myths, along with whether or not fans should buy into them. Many are well known, others may not be, but all are equally as compelling.
