10 Most Obscure Wrestling References In Hip Hop Songs

3. Conway The Machine - "George Bondo"

"Any beat I'm on, I gotta get my s**t off, your watch ain't cost thirty and up? Take that s**t off , I'm impactin' the culture like Eric Bischoff."

While "George Bondo," is on Westside Gunn's Pray for Paris album, the line actually comes from another member of the Griselda camp in Conway The Machine.

Much like Gunn, Conway is a huge wrestling fan and he's able to mesh his street life orientated lyrics with a nice little nod to the wrestling world once in a while. Since Conway and co. entered the rap game, they've been a fresh of breath air, so comparing himself to legendary wrestling mind, Eric Bischoff, is a pretty accurate comparison

Considering Bischoff was able to offer wrestling fans a different product to the then tired gimmicks that were a mainstay in the WWF, there are certainly some similarities between what Conway and the rest of the group are doing in hip hop now.
