10 Most Obscure WWE Royal Rumble Records
4. Shortest Stint In Two Rumbles
Recordholder: Titus O’Neil, 9 seconds
Ask any Royal Rumble history aficionado who holds the record for shortest run in a Rumble match and they will blurt out that Santino Marella is the unlucky leader in this field, with a dubious 1.9-second “run” in the 2009 Rumble.
And honestly, you could chalk that up to a bad night, which many wrestlers have had. To date, 10 men have logged times of four seconds or less in the Rumble, including JD McDonagh’s three-second stint last year. But few have had such a bad night twice in their careers.
But then there’s Titus O’Neil, who was dashed from the 2015 Rumble in four seconds and then bounced from the 2019 Rumble in five seconds for a combined run of nine seconds in two Rumble matches. That is unmatched in WWE history and likely won’t be anytime soon.
The only superstars who could possibly top this feat would be McDonagh, Sheamus (bounced from the 2018 Rumble in two seconds) or Chelsea Green (tossed from the 2023 Rumble in five seconds).
