Recordholder: Randy Orton, 8

To put it simply, a wrestler can’t win the Royal Rumble if they aren’t there at the end of the match. Repeatedly being in the mix toward the conclusion of the Rumble means WWE considers you one of its top stars, a top threat to the World title, and someone they want fans to view as a potential WrestleMania headliner.

For those reasons, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Roman Reigns has logged six final four appearances in the Rumble, from 2014-2018 and again in 2020. But he isn’t the recordholder, nor is he even alone at that level – Kane also has six final fours.

The record belongs to Randy Orton, who has been one of the final four men in eight Rumbles: 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2017, 2020 and 2021 (winning in 2009 and 2017). While Orton’s career trajectory has changed in recent years, WWE still views him as a top guy and a perennial contender for a World title, so don’t discount any future final four appearances.

With Reigns entering this year’s Rumble for the first time since 2020, it’s very possible the Tribal Chief moves up to sole possession of second place this year.

On the women’s side, it’s worth noting that Charlotte Flair has been in the final four of all four Rumbles that she has entered. Given that pedigree, it’s safe to expect her to add her fifth final four appearance this year.
