10 Most One-Sided WWE Feuds Ever

8. Triple H Vs. Randy Orton

In their original 2004 feud, Triple H and Randy Orton only actually fought one singles match; that of course being their infamous clash at Unforgiven, wherein The Game won back the World Heavyweight Championship.

But you really have to look at the storyline in its proper context. Orton had just become the youngest WWE world champion with victory over Chris Benoit at SummerSlam, after which he looked set for an Austin or Rock-style mega-push.

After that, instead of choosing to leave Evolution of his own accord, he was unceremoniously dumped out as a punishment for refusing to surrender the belt to its rightful holder. It was a principled stance, granted, but it would have been far cooler if he didn't get beaten up first.

To lose the pay-off match after that - and not even be given the opportunity at a rematch somewhere down the line - was extremely damaging. It would be several years before The Legend Killer could be taken seriously as a main event force again.
