10 Most Over-HATED Wrestlers In The World Right Now

10. Randy Orton

Randy Orton
WWE

Randy Orton is simultaneously the most over and under-rated professional wrestler of all time.

Overrated because he has neither the drawing record nor the body of work required to credibly presented him as one of the best to ever do it, despite WWE's insistence that he belongs in this conversation. He has won a lot of championships and been around for a long, long time, but the former is borderline meaningless if the needle doesn't consistently move and the latter actually works against him. In terms of quality, Randy's resume is remarkably thin for somebody who has been around for 20 years.

And yet Orton is horrendously underrated by his harshest critics, who paint him as a lazy product of office favouritism rather than a smart guy who figured out exactly what he needed to do to get and stay over very early in his career.

Orton has, unquestionably, been a tedious bore for periods of his run. Had he chosen to have become a more dynamic performer, his GOAT case may actually hold water. Nonetheless, he is an unquestionably intelligent man who has done a great job of preserving his body and act over the years - and a far better wrestler than many will ever give him credit for.
