10 Most Over-Pushed TNA Wrestlers Ever

Where would the company be today without these ill-advised pushes?

One of the biggest problems over TNA’s history, is that they often have had no clue of who they should be pushing.

There has been plenty of incredible wrestlers on their roster over the years, like A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and many others, but they usually played supporting roles to guys like Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Booker T. In almost every case, that was not the right call.

At other times, they gave someone a hugely unjustified push despite that wrestler not having very much talent. Management thought the wrestlers ranked here certainly did. And while a few of them were blessed with some skills, it was nowhere near enough to justify their big pushes.

Former WCW and WWE stars at least had some name value, so they get a little leeway here, as you can at least somewhat understand why management went with them in big roles. We're also going to reserve this list for people that actually wrestled for the company, so Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan and Dixie Carter will sadly not be featured here.

Now with those stipulations out of the way, here are the 10 most over-pushed wrestlers in TNA.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
