10 Most Over-The-Top Finishing Moves In WWE History

1. The Worm

Any member of the WWE Universe who watched either Raw or Smackdown (or even Sunday Night Heat) during the early noughties will know this move. One half of Too Cool with Grand Master Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty made his passion for breakdancing into one of the most popular and over the top moves in WWE history. No, he never ended anyone's career with the move but it definitely made Scotty a superstar. What it actually is: A chop to the throat. What it looks like: Following a running bulldog, Scotty stands next to his victim with arms outstretched and stares wide-eyed with his mouth agape like he's coming up on the strongest ecstasy imaginable. Follow this with some stamping on the spot and, it's only logical, to hop on one foot across to the other side of the ring before the pièce de résistance, the W-O-R-M! That move we all try to pull off on dance floors while drunk, the one where you physically look like a worm while trying to use your stomach and arms to propel yourself across the floor. That one. Then it's just a case of Scotty swinging his arms from side to side before chopping his opponents Adam's apple to smithereens. Possibly the longest finisher in history and one that's sorely missed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar7vkKi6Obk
