10 Most Overpaid Wrestlers Of 2014

4. Sheamus - $1,000,000

It can't be denied, Sheamus is one of the most hard-working guys under WWE contract. The sheer physicality of his matches is relentless, and the big Irishman isn't afraid to graft for the good of the company he works for. As soon as he made his very first appearances on the WWE version of ECW, it was clear Sheamus was destined for big things. Quickly becoming WWE Champion, Sheamus has never quite been the big drawing card that Vince McMahon perhaps wants him to be, but the Chairman can't fault the dedication of his employee. Whether it was desperation to find new, big-money-drawing stars or not, it's hard to see quite how spending a cool $1 million each year on someone who doesn't headline many big events is a good idea. First class travel costs come along for the ride too, making Sheamus one hell of an expensive mid-card talent.
