10 Most Perfectly Timed Wrestling Spots Ever

9. Young Bucks And FTR Live Up To The Hype

An honourable mention must go to an incredible spot from NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2019 (image not found, nor should a video editor search for it).

As Kenny Omega made the careless error of using a ringside table to prop himself up, Matt Jackson, who had scaled the turnbuckle to attack Kota Ibushi with an aerial, sensed the opportunity to blast Omega through it, breaking the sportsman code to get the simmering personal tension out of his system. It all felt so thrillingly organic, as if Jackson wouldn't have deliberately used a weapon against Kenny, but though "f*ck it, you've been a d*ck lately" in the moment.

Beyond that, their classic opposite FTR at AEW Full Gear 2020 produced several spots worthy of what was in effect a four-year build. One in particular was special: after Harwood and Wheeler nailed Matt Jackson with the Steinerizer, Wheeler instantly popped back up, and used his incredible cardio to sprint the full breadth of the ring to smash Nick through the ropes with a spear.

It look crazed, yet was crisp as anything, and it put over the threat of the hot tag before Nick was even able to step through the ropes.
