Just who were the worst offenders behind the curtain?

Strangely, politics often rings loudest as one of the most-debated subjects amongst pro wrestling fans. When doing so, these people aren't discussing Republicans or Democrats, they're talking about the political minefield that exists behind the scenes at almost every wrestling company. As the biggest, World Wrestling Entertainment is the one that goes under the microscope here. It's been said that many of the biggest stars in WWF/WWE history have had significant sway with management. These performers are able to veto creative decisions, whether such a clause is written into their contract or not. Somehow, even if they don't have any element of 'creative control', the people here have been able to cause problems for those calling the shots. Some of the wrestlers included may surprise some fans, because they're not immediately out for themselves. However, as 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair once said when talking about his own career, main event stars must have some sort of ego to make it to the top. All 10 following entries are examples of poison that has plagued the biggest promotion in wrestling history for multiple generations. These people have been very smart, often creating monster business for WWF/WWE. Sadly, the way they have acted on occasion hasn't been beneficial to anyone.
