At the risk of cheating by including two figures, Diego and Fernando both appear on this list because they are almost the same figure and because they look ridiculous. In the Elite 35 series, Mattel released Luke Harper, Randy Orton and the much-anticipated Earthquake figure, as well as Triple H with entrance gear from WrestleMania XXX. Nothing wrong about any of those, but the Los Matadores Elites had some collectors scratching their heads. An El Matador Tito Santana wouldn't have been a bad release for Elite 35 and is something that Mattel will likely produce in the near future to make use of these figures' limited, far-from-universal parts. Mattel would've been better off packaging these two together as part of their Battle Pack line instead of releasing Diego and Fernando as two separate Elite figures. As it is, these two toys appear to be almost identical to each other and it doesn't take more than a second's look at the toys to see just how silly they are. The capes, the monteras and the flashy colors are all accurate depictions of Los Matadores, but the whole gimmick is goofy, hokey and their toy likeness is no different.
