9. Mankind vs The Undertaker - Boiler Room Brawl, SummerSlam 1996
The Boiler Room Brawl concept is one specific to the character of Mankind, just as the Buried Alive match belongs to 'Taker. It makes sense (Mankind was said to reside in arena boiler rooms in the early years of the gimmick), but doesn't prevent it from being a ridiculous stipulation. The rules of this SummerSlam 1996 encounter saw the match begin in the boiler room, forcing both men to brawl their way out and race (or lumber slowly) to the ring. The first to arrive would claim Undertaker's urn as their prise from a waiting Paul Bearer, thus winning the match. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlms0v_025-the-undertaker-vs-mankind-summerslam-1996-boiler-room-brawl_sport In the end, after a whopping 27 minutes of slow, weapon heavy brawling, 'Taker arrived first - only for Bearer to turn on his demonic charge and give Mankind the screwy win, rendering the entire match irrelevant.
