3. WWF SummerSlam '98
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K7iXqxV-NU Ridiculous? Yes. Awesomely badass? Absolutely. Most entries on this list are generally humorous in some way, but that's not the sole quality to make them feel over the top and ridiculous. As two of the company's biggest stars headed for an eventual clash for the title at the annual event, WWF put together a series of spots based around the idea that the road to SummerSlam was indeed the "Highway to Hell," and put together a music video package with visuals of the two heading into battle on a stage which looks straight out of Escape from New York or the opening to Demolition Man. It's silly, but at the same time, kind of epic as it almost seems to depict what wrestling thinks it is versus what it actually is.
