10 Most Ridiculous WWE Injuries Ever

3. Brawl For F**k All

Designed partially just to test Bradshaw's tough-talking attitude in a real fighting scenario, the toxic Brawl For All that polluted WWE screens for much of 1998's otherwise red hot summer was one of Vince Russo's bigger brainfarts.

The boxing/wrestling hybrid saw a glut of midcarders of mixed success at the time attempting takedowns in gloves and for a change, not pulling their punches for a misguided array of single elimination battles for no discernible prize and/or status on a par with WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, or even Intercontinental Champion The Rock.

Ultimately, the Brawl For All did better business for the American healthcare system that it did WWE. The Godfather, Henry Godwinn, Steve Blackman, Brakkus, Hawk and Savio Vega all went down with injuries, taking them off the company's relentless touring schedule (and in Vega's case, out of the company completely).

The most destructive injury befell predicted winner Dr Death Steve Williams. Rumours abounded of a programme with Austin if and when he won the tournament, but his demeaning knockout loss to Bart Gunn also came with a legitimate hamstring injury that wrote him off television before he'd even been established as a full-time character.

The Brawl For All died alongside its only winner's career at WrestleMania 15, when Gunn was pulverised by actual boxer Butterbean in just 35 seconds.
