It's been a strange, strange old year for Miro.

Another talent who was finally allowed to depart WWE after years of stagnation, it was great to see the former Rusev turn up in AEW this September. It's just a shame that Miro's first few months in AEW have seen him so far positioned as a jacked Angry Video Game Nerd.

From a physical standpoint, Miro is back to his Bulgarian Brute shape after slimming down during his final WWE days. There's also notably an awkward bleached blond dye job for his hair and ring attire that's a little more loose around the edges and that features kickpads.

There's no major rush to push Miro towards the top of the AEW card just yet, but his current role seems questionable for someone with such genuine main event potential and star power.
