Paul Bearer never had a very varied stable of wrestlers, but he sure could pick his charges well. It probably helped that Kane and the Undertaker are both seven foot tall immortals possessed of elemental powers, but Paul's expert guidance surely didn't hurt.
Almost immediately buying out Undertaker's contract from Brother Love, Paul would guide Undertaker to his first WWE championship, and blackmail his way back into the Deadman's life during his second.
He'd ultimately bring in the more coachable Kane, who failed to unseat Taker but briefly took the title off Steve Austin and formed a championship team with Mankind. After years of trying, Bearer and Kane finally enjoyed an extended world title reign in 2010.
