Best known for his long-running stewardship of the Wild Samoans, Captain Lou was the guiding light for a record-breaking 10 teams to 15 world tag team championships. He also had success in the singles ranks, leading Don Muraco and Greg Valentine to Intercontinental titles, and briefly managed IC champ Pat Patterson after buying his contract from the Grand Wizard.

The Captain also managed the Fabulous Moolah at MTV's War to Settle the Score, and even witnessed the end of Bruno Sammartino's seven year reign from Ivan Koloff's corner.
