10 Most Successful WWE Diva Search Contestants Ever
7. Taryn Terrell
Taryn Terrell has had a rather bizarre wrestling career since her debut during the 2007 Diva Search in which she finished fourth. Quickly getting signed to a developmental contract, Tiffany, - as she was now known - was called up to the ECW main roster where she was named Assistant GM to Theodore Long. Just a mere few months later, Teddy Long went back to take the take the reigns over on Smackdown and the 23 year old with little wrestling experience was promoted to be the full time General Manager of ECW! This is a position that would last until ECW's demise in 2010. Tiffany was obviously to blame as she didn't even bother to show up half the time! - in reality, Taryn had legitimately injured herself in FCW so we'll let her off. Following a move to Smackdown, Tiffany's career failed to set the world alight and her wrestling capabilities leaved a lot to be desired. Married to 'The Chosen One' Drew Galloway, Tiffany was released after they got in a major incident which apparently saw Taryn acting like a crazed lunatic! Taryn would spend the next few years honing her craft on the independent scene, all the while going through a divorce with her Scottish husband. In 2012, Taryn would debut as a referee- what? - for the Knockout's division and subsequently began feuding with Gail Kim. As their feud simmered, Taryn would be signed as a Knockout wrestler to embark on a quest to dethrone Kim from the pinnacle of the division. Shockingly, Taryn had become not just a good wrestler, but a brilliant one and her Last Knockout Stnading match with Gail Kim at Slammiversary XI will go down as one of the greatest Knockout matches in history. Just as fans were really beginning to appreciate her talent, Taryn would become pregnant; leaving TNA for a few months to become a mother. Upon her return, Taryn would eventually complete her quest for Knockout gold and become the longest reigning champion of all time. She would also transform into a wonderfully bitchy heel character complete with devious doll back up in the form of Jade and Marti Belle for The Dollhouse stable. Even though she was at the height of her career, Taryn left the wrestling world behind in 2015, citing personal reasons and her newly found Christian faith as a reason to retire.
