10 Most Successful WWE To AEW Transitions
2. Bryan Danielson
Make no mistake, Daniel Bryan accomplished monumental things whilst under WWE contract, lifting World Championship gold in WrestleMania main events, executing some of the finest character work of modern times, and producing clinics time and time again before and after his enforced retirement in 2016.
But even the most sadistic and violent version of Bryan in the sports entertainment sphere couldn't hold a candle to the bloodthirsty American Dragon who has gone about dismantling the All Elite roster since arriving on the scene at All Out 2021.
There have been a few moments of getting lost in the shuffle somewhat, sure. But on the whole, Danielson has evidently relished getting back to his best in the world roots, bludgeoning and taking just about every top-level star on the roster to their absolute limits during his first year-and-a-half as an AEW talent.
Did you ever honestly think there was a chance you'd see the former SmackDown General Manager going for a hellacious hour on two gruelling occasions, even just a few years ago?
Probably not, and the best still feels as though it could be yet to come...
