Tough Enough History: Season Three winner The man whose real name is John Hennigan is most known for performing in World Wrestling Entertainment as John Morrison. He actually started out as Johnny Nitro in WWE on the main roster in 2005, then in 2007 became John Morrison until he left the company at the end of 2011. Since he's been out of WWE, he has tried his hand at acting, but also still wrestles in the indies and is featured prominently in Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo. He was a co-winner of season three along with Matt Cappotelli, who unfortunately was diagnosed with a brain tumor and forced retire from wrestling although he's living a normal life these days, so it's great to know he's doing okay. In terms of in-ring work, Morrison is probably the best performer out of all the Tough Enough contestants. He's an incredible athlete that can have great matches with anybody and really became a popular wrestler because of his aerial skills. He showed those skills off in his early days of Tough Enough too. He kept working at it, built up his body and came very close to being a main event guy in WWE. He actually did take part in some main events, but not in a one on one match. Part of the reason he left is likely because it was tough to break through to the top. His Tough Enough tryout tape is actually pretty funny to watch all these years later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mw5LNdaH84 As mentioned, you can watch him on Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo where he was brought in as one of their most well known stars and a babyface that has had several great matches on their shows. A WWE return for him may not happen again now that he's in his mid-30s, but if it does then most likely WWE fans would be happy to see it. He was always popular with the fans. Morrison is the best winner in Tough Enough history, but he's not the biggest star in the history of the show. That honor goes to one of his former tag team partners.
