10 Most Successful WWE Tough Enough Contestants

4. Matt Morgan

Tough Enough History: Season Two Matt Morgan is one of the biggest Tough Enough contestants ever. He's a legitimate seven footer that was a former basketball player, so he had the body type that WWE loved. He had to leave season two of the show due to an injury, but WWE liked him enough to sign him to a developmental deal and he was a part of WWE for the next three years. It didn't work out for him WWE, but there's really nobody to blame. It was just a case of a young guy that still had to develop.
When Morgan got to TNA in 2007, he really showed a lot of improvement. Within a few years, he became a very good all around performer that was capable of having good matches and delivering confident promos too. He was in TNA for about six years and they probably should have put the TNA World Title on him, but it's TNA and they suck at making right decisions like that. A lot of fans that followed the product closely know that guys like him were the ones they should have pushed and they didn't. It's why they are where they are now. Morgan retired from full time wrestling after the birth of his son in 2014 because he said he wanted to be there to raise his boy. That's pretty admirable. He had a career he should be proud of. Just because he didn't spend the majority of his career outside of WWE doesn't mean he failed at all.
