10 Most Surprising WWE Veterans

Primo Colon has been on the WWE payroll for nearly 11 years, signing his first deal with Vince McMahon in 2007 after initially performing in the Puerto Rico-based World Wrestling Council, partially established by his father Carlos Colon.

A short spell in Florida Championship Wrestling followed before Primo was promoted to Monday Night Raw. There, he formed a double act with brother Carlito, winning the Unified Tag Team Titles with victory over Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania 25.

After that, about two years of doing nothing. The departure of his big bro left him without much by way of an identity, and it took until his cousin, Epico, joined the ranks in 2011 for him to finally become relevant again.

The lesson here is that you should always try and work with your family, while at the same time not becoming overly reliant on them (especially if their name is Carlito, a guy who is forever passing through WWE's revolving door).
