1. CM Punk
The prince of wrestling arrogance in the modern era has to be CM Punk. Fans have at times enjoyed his 'stick it to the man' mentality, but that can only go so far. In reality, Punk appears nothing but ungrateful for the opportunities and wealth afforded to him by association with World Wrestling Entertainment, instead choosing to lambast the company for other things, coming across as pretty petty on occasion as a result. Yes, the man's infamous 'pipebomb' promo on an episode of Monday Night Raw in 2011 still holds up to this day as an exciting example of what can happen when wrestlers go off the script, but it was little more than self-serving for Punk. Speaking of changing things for the better, the guy instead only wangled himself a bumper new contract, his own tour bus, and a whole host of other goodies. Nobody can claim that CM Punk was anything other than a super-hard worker during his WWE tenure, but he could write books on how to be self-entitled, and seems to think that he - and he alone - should be the centrepiece of the entire wrestling world.
