The 2002 Triple Threat Elimination Tag Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship featured every member of the famous backstage group known as the SmackDown Six. Eddie and Chavo Guerrero, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, and Edge and Rey Mysterio put on a very entertaining, back-and-forth contest that saw Los Guerreros leave victorious after tapping out Rey Mysterio to become the new titleholders.

But why is this match not remembered as much as it should be? For one, the match features Chris Benoit which, for obvious reason if you're reading this, will all but disqualify WWE from ever referencing it again. But even by fans, this match is often forgotten as a Survivor Series classic. Perhaps it is because the match was for the newly created WWE Tag Team Championships and not the original World Tag Team title lineage, or it could be because the secondary titles, in general, were significantly devalued by 2002.

Regardless of the reason, the Triple Threat Elimination Tag from Survivor Series 2002 doesn't get enough credit. Especially considering the rare match type of a three-way elimination tag, this six-man contest will go down as one of the most underrated contests in Survivor Series history.
