10 Most Underrated Super Heavyweights In WWE History

1. Earthquake

Quite possibly the most underrated super heavyweight in WWE history is John Tenta, the former Canadian Earthquake.

Anyone that wants to see how impressive this guy can be should go back and watch the 1990 Survivor Series in which he catches The Big Boss Man as he leaps off the top rope with a flying cross body! Quake catches him (almost with one arm) and doesn't move an inch.

Another match that displays Quake's athleticism is from the October 13th, 1992 Wrestling Challenge when The Natural Disasters lost the Tag Team Championship back to Money, Inc. During the course of that title match, Earthquake takes a running front turnbuckle bump in which he floats over the top rope and to the outside, crashing down onto the ringside barrier in one fell swoop, ala Shawn Michaels.

Quake may not have looked like an athlete and he may have been saddled with some awful gimmicks later in his career, but Earthquake was a damn good wrestler given his size.

Earthquake's main event feud with Hulk Hogan was the highlight of his career and, unfortunately, it came at the very beginning of his WWF run. Still, he was able to win the Tag Team Championship and make a lasting name for himself over the next half-decade by becoming one of the most underrated super heavyweights in WWE history.
