10 Most Underrated Tag Teams In WWE History

6. Yokozuna and Owen Hart

At WrestleMania XI, the team of Yokozuna and Owen Hart debuted, defeating the Smoking Gunns to win the WWE Tag Team Championships and begin a reign of dominance of the tag division that would stretch some six months. Combining technique and speed with strength and girth, the team incorporated every attribute one could ask for. It was that combination that led them to victories over the likes of The Allied Powers (Lex Luger and British Bulldog), Razor Ramon and Savio Vega and Men on a Mission. They mixed it up with duos such as Diesel and Shawn Michaels and remained a key piece of WWE programming for the entire duration of their teaming. Yokozuna€™s babyface turn in early 1996 led to the dissolvement of the team. The former WWE champion would spend months feuding with Hart as part of his on-going war with Camp Cornette before being overwhelmed by Vader and sent packing due to his unhealthy weight gain. Despite his team with Owen ending somewhat suddenly and unsatisfyingly, the team proved to be incredibly effective and kept both Owen and Yokozuna busy while out of the main event picture.
