10 Most Underrated WWE Feuds Of The 2010s

6. Cesaro Vs. Sheamus (2016)

You often forget about the makings of the Bar because of how tremendously well-received they were by WWE. Four-time Raw Tag Team Champions, one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions and 2018 Slammy Award-winning Tag Team of the Year, Sheamus and Cesaro were as remarkable collectively as they were individually.

That simply doesn't happen by chance for modern-day WWE tag teams.

It did, of course, come by way of that incredible summer 2016 Best of Seven series that saw some ludicrous displays of professional wrestling from the two, which, again, is rare to see in modern-day WWE, particularly on the weekly shows. This was nothing like a traditional NXT TakeOver spotfest or a series of bangers like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's arc that ended a month prior to this kicking off.

Instead, this resembled more of a hoss fight situation. It was nowhere near as good as it could have been, mind, but it didn't necessarily need to be because they were en route to becoming a tag team in the immediate aftermath. Whether WWE knew that was the plan all along or, more likely, not, it still set them up nicely for that pairing.

Their pay-per-view outings at SummerSlam and Clash Of Champions speak for themselves, while the weekly Raw bouts were often crackers, too. Shame about the Best of Seven ending in a draw, though.
