10 Most Underrated WWE Feuds Of The 2010s
4. Chris Jericho Vs. Kevin Owens (2017)
At the time, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens' United States Championship-centered rivalry was one of WWE's greatest assets in spring 2017. Now, however, you're lucky if you hear anyone talk about the damn thing.
What gives?
In what was easily one of Raw's most memorable and captivating segments of the past five years, Owens presented 'Le Champion' with his own List Of KO, with Jericho's name the only one on there. From there, the then-United States Champion laid waste to ol' Christopher, Powerbombing him on the ring apron and crashing his face through the Festival of Friendship sign.
This in itself was a superb moment, but the series of matches that followed was equally as grand. Their title outing at WrestleMania 33 was a marvellous time, with several points in the bout earning the duo their spot on this list. Owens placing one finger on the ropes to avoid being pinned? F*cking incredible, regardless of if Vince McMahon says otherwise.
Was there ever a reason for Jericho to lift the title at Backlash, only to lose it two days later on SmackDown? No. It merely acted as a way to write 'Y2J' off television, something that easily could have been done at Backlash. Still, a good time was had.
