One man that certainly believes Cesaro is currently being underused is the Swiss Superman himself. Either that or he’s worked a work and worked us into a shoot, brother.

But still, regardless of whether or not they were Cesaro’s true feelings in his post-Draft interview, it’s rather difficult to find fault with them. Like Neville, Cesaro has an immense amount of ability and he never fails to impress us with his frequent feats of freakish strength.

And yet, since returning to singles competition, he’s won absolutely nothing in terms of actual titles. Or at least, nothing in the world of WWE. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter meanwhile, has named him Most Underrated for a record-equalling three successive years, which just about tells you all you need to know about his recent underutilisation.

While you could certainly make a case for him being World Champion material, that might be a bit of a stretch at present. But with all that talent, he’s got Intercontinental Champion written all over him, or at the very least United States Champion.

Having been drafted to Raw, the latter would appear the most likely, and to be honest that would be the absolutely bare minimum that he deserves. Although, Roman Reigns may have other ideas…
