10 Most Unprofessional Performances In WWE History

2. John Bradshaw Layfield Vs. The Blue Meanie - ECW One Night Stand, 2005

Never a fan of 'the E C Dubya', John Bradshaw Layfield let his feelings known in remarkably unprofessional fashion at WWE's ECW One Night Stand event in 2005.

Though JBL subsequently denied it, the Meanie attributed the incident entirely to Layfield, who he claimed had it in for him the second he walked through Stamford's doors. Whatever the cause, Layfield, as bullies tend to do, picked out the softest and fattest-looking guy to rough up during the show's closing melee. He even went as far as to lift Meanie's shirt over his head to keep him from defending himself, obliterating his face in the process. The back of Meanie's head, only recently stitched up following an injury incurred the previous night, was also opened up in a shocking transgression of the in-ring code of conduct.

It would take several years for Layfield to receive his comeuppance, but he did so in a legendary humiliation. Joey Styles, ECW's shrieking, scrawny announcer, grew particularly tired of Layfield's constant bullying on a tour of Iraq in 2008. At his wit's end, he did the unthinkable and knocked the far-bigger Texan spark out.
