10 Most Unsatisfying WWE Storyline Conclusions
3. Vince McMahon's Son
Whatever you think about having the McMahons all over the WWE product, there can be no denying that the wrestlers whose paths they cross get a lot of air time.
And that was the thinking behind the illegitimate son angle, so fans watching in 2007 thought: you take a star from the upper mid-card, pair them up with Vince and watch them quickly rise up the ranks, eventually becoming so big the fact that they share blood ties with the chairman of the board becomes a mere footnote on their glittering CV.
The fans were wrong, though: WWE had no intention of using the angle to elevate a mid-carder, but instead merely as a way to produce some side-splittingly funny backstage skits. They had only themselves to blame, really.
