10 Most Vicious Personal Insults In Wrestling History

3. ...As Does Doug Gilbert

Of course, Jerry Lawler willingly played the role of a horny on main commentator throughout the Attitude Era.

There was an age gap of 21 years between Lawler and ex-wife Stacey Carter, and a gap of 39 years between Lawler and partner Lauryn McBride, who was in her early 20s when the relationship began. Lawler obviously knows of his own reputation, and has even joked about it during a Starrcast panel. He said he wasn't embarrassed to be with younger women - well, apart from when they order "pasghetti" at a restaurant.

So perhaps it's not personal nor vicious after all, going after Lawler's...tastes. He has maintained his innocence and is a public-facing member of the "If you were my daughter, I'd still be bathing you" community.

Then again, Doug Gilbert outright saying that "Jerry Lawler, you r*ped a little 13 year-old girl" in Memphis Power-Pro Wrestling was hardly "You're a little suck-up sell-out full of sufferin' succotash, son!"

Lawler did take it very personally, and while they've since made up, they fell out badly.

As you'd likely expect.
