10 Most Vicious Wrestling Manager Beatdowns

4. Ken Patera Breaks The Weasel’s Neck

Back in the '80s, wrestlers tended to be injured for a long, long time. Unlike these days when Roman Reigns sneezes at being flipped in an ambulance, wrestlers in the good, ol’ days would treat their wounds for months on end. 'Cowboy' Bob Orton set the standard with his perpetually casted arm, but Bobby Heenan cames close with that trusty neck brace seen on many Prime Time Wrestlings.

The Brain earned that brace after a debate gone wrong with former client and ex-convict Ken Patera. Heenan claimed that Patera was a failure, always wanting a title belt but never winning one. So Heenan gave him a belt, taking his off and whipping the Olympic strongman. Patera quickly turned the tide, pounding his ex-manager in the corner and wrapping the belt around his neck. Then he tossed Heenan across the ring, his neck snapping back in a sickening visual.
