10 Most Violent Fighters In UFC History
1. Jon Jones
While he might be far from perfect outside the Octagon, what Jon Jones produces inside of it is the most beautiful example of fighting we've ever seen in this sport. Although every other person on this list certainly has their own strengths and abilities, nobody has brought the violence like the UFC's light heavyweight champion.
Early on in his UFC career, Jones experimented with techniques while in the cage, using insane moves to destroy far more experienced opponents. From spinning elbows to adversaries' craniums to introducing unwilling participants to Suplex City like his name was Brock Lesnar, Jones' skillset might've been all over the place as a prospect, but that didn't lessen the impact of what he was doing.
However, when Jones took his training camps to Jackson-Wink MMA in New Mexico, his ability to beat up opponents matured significantly. Everything he threw now had meaning to it, which meant he began setting traps for his foes that they'd never seen before. Just look at the way he uses his elbows and kicks to back opponents up against the cage, so he can corner them and land whatever strikes he wants.
Hopefully the sport evolves and we see someone who is able to mix the chaotic and creative as well as Jones. Until then, you're looking at the most violent man on the planet.
