10 Most Violent Matches In WrestleMania History

7. Razor Ramon Vs Shawn Michaels - (WrestleMania 10)

The large majority of WWF fans had not seen any of the Ladder Matches held in Stampede Wrestling or on World Of Sport in the 70's and 80's, so when WrestleMania 10 was to feature Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels competing in one, people didn't know what to expect. The rules of the match were simply enough to grasp, but how much would the ladder come into play during the match itself? There wasn't a single drop of blood spilled in this match, but it was like watching a car wreck, as Jim Ross often liked to say during matches like this. Razor and Shawn spent nearly 20 minutes beating the ever-loving hell out of each other with a heavy metal ladder. When they weren't hitting each other with the ladder, they were using the ladder to add extra height to their moves. It was fascinating to watch. If you weren't watching the WWF in 1994, you don't truly get how out-of-place a match like this was. Fans weren't used to watching matches back then and cringing because of how painful spot after spot looked. This was the introduction, for many fans, to truly violent gimmick matches in the WWF, which is something that would become more of a normal thing in the coming years.
