2. Nick Aldis

The current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is very much an old school wrestler. His dress-up, his presentation, his in ring style and his physique, all recapture that old fashioned pro wrestler feel. But it’s not just the NWA that his gimmick and build pay homage to. He is very much the quintessential pro wrestler from WWE’s old days. And as we all know, Vince’s own personal taste hasn’t changed all that much since.

Aldis has been a wrestling beast for NWA in recent times, almost carrying the prestige of the legendary promotion all by himself as they seek a modern day resurgence.

He is one of the main reasons their current show NWA Powerrr has been received so well by fans and critics alike. He is 6'4" and 242 pounds. And he has the strength and ability to put on a great match with most of his peers, as witnessed during his instant classic with Cody at ALL In. Cue Vince McMahon Genetic Jackhammer Going Wild Face.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
