10 Nasty Wrestling Bumps Nobody Talks About

3. Zack Ryder (WWE Raw, February 12, 2012)

This year, Zack Ryder's WWE struggles continued. Winning the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania, he was then swiftly kicked from the title scene the next night on Monday Night Raw. Ryder should be used to that kind of treatment by now, 2016 isn't the first year he's experienced a false dawn in the promotion.

Back in 2012, Zack was coming off a mini-push the previous year. Getting himself over via YouTube, management begrudgingly agreed to feature Ryder more on television. He entered into an on screen friendship with John Cena, all before becoming a mere pawn to push Cena's ongoing rivalry with Kane.

Put in a wheelchair by the 'Big Red Machine', Ryder came out to confront occasional pal Cena on the 12 February 2012 episode of Raw. Then, he was pushed from the entrance ramp by Kane, splatting onto the hard concrete right in front of fans.

There's no way the bump didn't hurt, as Ryder's legs buckled awkwardly as he held on for dear life. The stunt was obviously as safe as it could possibly be, but it still looked incredibly painful to take.
