Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon's relationship appears now to be a beautiful understanding of two people who both really, really like money. Before then, however, Brock couldn't stand the world Vince had created, and left the company in a huff.

Pushed out of the gate as "the next big thing," Brock enjoyed a two year period in which he was on top of the world, beating The Rock for the WWE Championship, winning the Royal Rumble, and main-eventing WrestleMania within his first year on the main roster. However, never comfortable with people or travel, Brock soon became despondent and irritable, finding himself addicted to vodka and pain pills. By 2004, he had had enough, and after a miserable match with Goldberg at WrestleMania XX, he flipped off the camera and left WWE seemingly for good.

After failed stints in the NFL and New Japan, Brock found his calling with MMA, dominating the heavyweight division of UFC and becoming champion. After that, though, absence and the aforementioned love of making lots and lots of money lured him back to Vince McMahon. Now working as a part-timer, The Beast now seems content with his current situation (I mean, unless Jon Jones gets his act together, in which case, Brock's back in UFC with bells on).
