'Da-nana da-nana da-nana-nana-na-nuh-na-nuh!'.

That familiar refrain (which Jon Moxley apparently hates) blared out for the first time in a long time on this week's episode of Dynamite. MJF is back, baby, and the born heel even teased a fan-loving babyface run before reverting to his old ways during another memorable in-ring promo.

Tony Khan resisted the urge to stick Friedman in his new 'Grand Slam Tournament Of Champions', but it surely won't be long until MJF is AEW World Champion anyway. He's been nailed on for that success since 2019, being perfectly honest, and no amount of backstage politics can stop that.

Fans should expect MJF to play a big part on Dynamite going forwards. It's getting closer and closer to the time when this entire product revolves around him, and that's not a bad thing. There are few better personalities in all of pro wrestling than the yappy villain who claims he's better than you.
