10 New Directions After WWE Draft 2016
1. Ambrose Vs Wyatt
As well as a possible Orton vs. Styles programme, the WWE’s
house show schedule has suggested that Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt could also
be on the cards.
Admittedly, this is a pairing that we’ve already seen, and on more than one occasion. But crucially, we’ve never them square off with the title on the line. And providing Ambrose is victorious at Battleground, you’d expect that to be the case this time around.
Now, that may not sound like it makes much of a difference, but given that Wyatt is yet to win a title of any kind in his entire career in the WWE, the thrill of the chase may just be enough to get another full feud out of this one.
All of this is based on supposition though—if Ambrose loses at Battleground this weekend, where do we go from there? Is SmackDown then the brand that needs to introduce a new belt? And does that belt go straight to Dean or is there some kind of tournament beforehand?
At this point none of us can know for certain, but at least there’s the promise of plenty of new possibilities in light of the 2016 Draft.
