Edge and Beth Phoenix vs. The Miz and Maryse at January's Royal Rumble feels like it happened a decade ago. That's how quickly WWE's product moves in the modern era, but the couple's mixed tag-team win went down this year. It might not even be an isolated triumph for Mr and Mrs. 'Rated-R'.

Rhea Ripley's cold chair-led brutality at Extreme Rules means either Edge/Beth vs. Finn Bàlor/Rhea or Edge/Beth vs. Damian Priest/Ripley is incoming at some point in the future. If nothing else, booking that would be an easy way to get some more legends onto the card at Crown Jewel and please Saudi's money men a little more.

Phoenix vs. Rhea one-one-one sounds like a lot of fun too, but WWE could hold off on that until WrestleMania if they fancy it. Again, this would be an easy way to get both on a major pay-per-view without any titles being involved.

The mixed tag is first up though.
