Bayley was booked to look like she'd seen a ghost when Kairi Sane helped IYO SKY retain the WWE Women's Title vs. Bianca Belair. The Damage CTRL leader will quiz her stablemate on Kairi soon enough, and she might not like the answers. A CTRL split is incoming, people - it's unavoidable.

Sane is the true catalyst for that schism, and it seems likely she'll form a brand new group alongside her old pal. Don't forget that Bayley was also responsible for Kairi's WWE exit a few years back too, so that's another plot point creative can chew on over the coming months.

Bayley going babyface could be a neat complement to Kairi and IYO splintering away from the core Damage CTRL idea towards something new. Would it work? It's certainly worth trying, but WWE would need to be careful due to SKY's popularity in-ring.

She has some cracking matches, and that resonates with the audience. Bayley has tenure on her side though.
