9. WWE Teasing John Cena’s US Challenge?
Is this more wishful thinking than anything else? Maybe, but something tells this writer that WWE's braintrust has something huge in mind for Austin Theory at 'Mania 39. He retained his United States belt in a Chamber match, and even got to do some sign-pointing like he'd just won the Royal Rumble.
Nice.
It'd be a bit of a shocker if WWE didn't at least tease John Cena's comeback and a match vs. the young prodigy. After all, that's something Theory himself has been yakking on about for the longest time. If there's any hope at all that Cena will be able to clear up time on his schedule, then creative must get the ball rolling.
They've got up until the final few weeks before April supershow(s) to nail down JC. Then, if he's unable, Austin can always spin into some sort of multi-man title defence on the first or second nights in Hollywood.
