5. A Rusev Day Split

WWE have hinted before that they'd rather move Rusev on from Aiden English and shine the spotlight more on he and Lana than their borderline-translucent bard of a friend. They cancelled that first teased split however, probably because they realised neither man had anything to do on his own.

They're about to try again.

Rusev Day's blatant miscommunication cost them during the Hell in a Cell Kickoff show. English later dismissed Rusev's cries for a tag, and that will surely come up in promos on SmackDown over the next few weeks; expect Lana to point out that her hubby might be SmackDown Tag Champ had English not selfishly tried to use his finisher to bag the win.

The big Bulgarian should hock those Rusev Day shirts whilst he can, 'cause a heel turn may be in the works. Or, more logically, his former Vaudevillain partner will uphold the latter part of that old tag-team name by angrily lashing out at Rusev.

There's a split coming, whatever WWE choose.
