Cedric Alexander tried to link back up with MVP backstage, got rebuffed by his old manager and then interfered on behalf of Bobby Lashley during the handicap match. Later, Lashley said he understood Cedric's mindset and that was that.

Or, is it?

Alexander had to be involved at HIAC for a reason, and MVP will probs reason that Omos needs help if he's going to be the monster brute he wants to be. This, dear reader, could mean that The Hurt Business 2.0 is incoming very, very soon. That, if nothing else, would rally troops around Omos and stop him from having to eat more defeats.

Of course, WWE is faction daft in 2022, and they don't actually need this reprisal. That might not stop the writing team from thinking that Cedric, MVP and Omos is a solid backup plan. It's hard to see anything coming of Bobby giving Alexander a pat on the back anyway.
