10 New Directions For WWE After Money In The Bank 2022
9. The Street Profits Back On Track
Time to drop the tension.
WWE had Michael Cole and Pat McAfee talk at length about the simmering dissension between Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins at MITB. That's not something creative should keep going, especially after the finish to The Street Profits' match vs. The Usos.
Ford's shoulder was clearly up in replays, and that should be enough to bring The Profits together as a united front again. They were pretty much screwed out of a chance at becoming Undisputed Tag-Team Champs, so the pair should be seething about that and keen to push for a rematch.
It's pretty clear that Ford is heading for a singles run at some point (dude is looking jacked), but WWE don't need to be too hasty there. They've got a story to tell, and it's actually be refreshing if a tag went their separate ways without turning on one another en route.
Imagine that.
