Triple H chuckled as he poked fun at claims Drew McIntyre was unhappy in WWE or looking to leave and wrestle elsewhere. According to 'The Game', Drew is fully focused on the future where he is. Post-Money In The Bank, he'll be working an Intercontinental Title feud opposite dominant champ GUNTHER.

What's more, McIntyre could end GUNTHER's run.

SummerSlam might come too soon for that, but afterwards? 100%. GUNTHER is scarily-close to topping The Honky Tonk Man's 454-day reign as IC Champ, so it'd be stupid of WWE to cut him down before smashing the record. However, he has to drop the gold and move on someday.

Drew would be a fine pick as successor long-term. He'd work similar quality matches to GUNTHER in the title hot seat, and can always move up a rung on the ladder again once someone else comes along to dethrone him.

This is happening, but maybe not until GUNTHER tops Honky.
