10 New Directions For WWE After Payback 2023

1. CM Punk At Survivor Series In Chicago?!

Stranger things have happened, let’s be honest.

Sure, Triple H and several other key figures in WWE probably have no time for CM Punk personally, but this is business. Punk returning to the WWE scene for a major match or two would pull in significant interest, especially with the weight of the corporate machine behind it.

Would this fan bring back Punk? Yes and no. On one hand, his always feels like the comeback that got away. On the other, Punk became a common denominator for trouble behind the scenes in AEW, and Trips won't want that kind of hassle in his locker rooms heading into 2024.

Survivor Series is in Chicago though, so anything could happen. Nobody can sit there and confidently state that this will never happen. Pro wrestling is f*cking wild, so CM Punk becoming a WWE star yet again is not out of the question.

No, really. It isn't.
