10. Ambrose Helping Rollins Remain IC Champ

What Happened At SummerSlam: Recently-returned Dean Ambrose didn't turn heel, and he didn't accidentally cost Seth Rollins the chance to become Intercontinental Champion. Instead, he helped his pal beat Dolph Ziggler and fend off usual ringside menace Drew McIntyre.

Where It's Going: Think of Ambrose as a babyface version of McIntyre over the next few months. His role will be occasionally teaming with Seth and helping him level the playing field against heels when he's defending the belt. Then, eventually, he'll spring his own heel turn.

It'd be a shock if it happened soon though, because there's more mileage out of Dean and Seth as on-screen buddies. Their story has potential WrestleMania 35 program written all over it. If WWE can spin the tale out that long, then there's every chance it'll happen.

For now, Ambrose will be an IC Title gatekeeper for Seth.
